MILFORD GARDENERS CLUB

September 17th - John Coombes will entertain talking about the Hampshire Avon. He comes highly recommended from people who have heard him talk.
 
October 15th - This a completely new venture for the Club, and with New Milton Horticultural Society,  are holding a joint meeting in the Memorial Hall Whitefield Road New Milton to listen to Tom Hart-Dyke of the World Garden Lullingstone Castle (shown last year on BBC2). It is an illustrated talk about his orchid hunting in Columbia S. America & subsequent kidnapping by guerrillas who held him captive for 9 months - at one time he was threatened with execution & from that he dreamt of creating the World Garden. 7pm for 7.30pm £4 visitors (inc. refreshments) from Gwens in Milford or Wrights Music Store Station Rd New Milton. Members free.
 
November 19th - Chris Yates previously of the Scented Garden in Littlebredy, Dorset - 'Confessions of a Plantaholic'.   Chris is an inspirational speaker who returns for a third visit.

December 10th - Andrew McIndoe, Head Gardener at Hilliers Gardens in Ampfield (near Winchester) visits tonight. There will also be a Christmas feel to the evening with nibbles and wine
